Residents living in the Watton area are being encouraged to attend a public meeting to find out how police and partner agencies are attempting to tackle anti-social behaviour.

Watton Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) will be jointly hosting the Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel (SNAP) meeting with Breckland District Council and other local partner agencies at the beginning of next month.

SNAP is a meeting where all members of the public are welcome to attend, have their say about their community and discuss issues that affect their quality of life.

Following consultation, the panel will decide on three priorities to act upon for the next two months.

The last three priorities that the SNAP focused on were:

1. To tackle anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in the area of Lovell Gardens.
2. To address the issue of criminal damage in east Watton.
3. To tackle the inappropriate use of motorcycles along Tom Turley Close.

The SNAP meeting will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday February 3rd at Wayland House, High Street, Watton.
